Boho Beach Style

Trends may come and go, but one thing that we're sure will never change about Van de Vort is our love for laid back, beach-inspired fashion. Our company was born, bred and still operates in sunny San Diego, and both our flagship store and VDV HQ are less than 10 minutes from the coastline. We're smack dab in the middle of some of the best beach communities in the country, and in our humble opinions, the world. #humblebrags aside, we truly mean it when we say that where we come from has had a huge impact on the company we are today. Seeing as we're seven days out from the official start of summer, we figured now is as good a time as any to get back to our roots by sharing some of our favorite beachy boho looks. 

A cute crop top + a pair of One Teaspoon Bandits = our go-to summer uniform. This combo screams summer, especially when paired with white high top sneakers and retro-inspired round sunnies. This look works just about anywhere, but the crochet trim on our Vagabond Marley Crop makes it especially perfect for a beach day. 

Bikini maker MIKOH is a brand after our own hearts. Born on the beach, (just like us!) they're known for making some of the best beachwear out there. Their best-selling Kahala Top is back, this time in a fresh indigo dye print that we're loving paired with their cheeky, side tie Dreamland Bottoms. Super strappy and trimmed in fringe, we're low key obsessed with this look. 

We're constantly on the lookout for a cute swimsuit cover up, and this Rodeo Sheer Maxi Dress by VDV's in-house brand Vagabond is at the top of our list. With side slits, a low scoop back and sheer construction to let you show off your bikini. And the cool burnout cactus print? Just an added bonus.
