Desert Oasis: The Piece You Need

Happy Monday, babes! Our latest Festival Fortunes lookbook has dropped!! "Desert Oasis" is the second installment of our 2015 summer festival trends and lookbook series. This time around we have another trend and vibe to tell you about! We want our VDV babes to be completely prepared for every summer festival trend we'll see out there...so this is our next one! "Desert Oasis" is all about color and print. We are all about mixing bright colors with bright prints and being bold with our oasis, funky, hippie style. This trend is all about going for it...this is for the daring girls. Want to seriously stand out? "Desert Oasis" is totally your thing. Our babes Kylie Cusick and Leore Hayon kill this style and totally embodied the whole vibe. It's about relaxing by the pool. It's about having fun with your besties. It's about being fun and young and funky. We are OBSESSED. We really feel that this is the whole point festival season in general....like, just have fun and be bold. Why not? We got serious inspiration from the late 50s and 60s Palm Springs culture...can we just hang with Elvis in the Somedays lovin Feelin' Ferny Bikini? The Elvis part may be tricky...but, yes, we can. Imagine chilling at a day house party during a rocking festival weekend...these are the 'fits you need to steal the show. Be trend setters, babes. If there was one piece that really describes this lookbook, it would be the Somedays Lovin Feelin' Ferny bikini bottoms....These are a spring and summer staple, regardless of festival season, but they are THE ITEM for festivals this summer. I mean..you do not need pants all weekend, or shorts for that matter...all you need for bottoms are these bikini bottoms. I'm serious. And there are so many ways to style them.  First, I would rock these bikini bottoms with a cute graphic tee and bright sunnies! This keeps it fun, skimpy, and funky because it's so effortless.
