Kopari Beauty: Our Winter Skincare Secret

KOpari Beauty Winter Skincare Secret It doesn't matter whether you're a beach babe, snow bunny, or somewhere in between--with colder winter weather comes drier air. And while we're happy to finally be able to layer on the coats and boots, we aren't loving the dry skin, frizzy hair, and cuticles so craggy that you just KNOW your manicurist is secretly judging you. We'd almost resigned to the idea that this would be the winter norm, but then we discovered Kopari Beauty. You'd have to be living under a rock not to know that coconut oil is having a major moment as of late, but Kopari is taking it to a whole new level. Their 100% pure, cruelty-free coconut oil is combined with cutting-edge chemistry to enhance the benefits and results in some really amazing products (our personal fave is the Coconut Sheer Oil, BTW). While the possibilities with coconut oil are nearly endless, here are our ten favorite ways to use Kopari products. Kopari Beauty Coconut Oils

Cuticle Oil

Hydrate those cuticles and keep your mani looking fresh to death with Kopari's Coconut Balm. Unlike your typical grocery store coconut oil, the balm is formulated to have a less greasy finish that's perfect to put on your hands.

Lip Balm

The Coconut Balm also cures chapped lips. Beeswax keeps it creamy and easy to apply, and aloe vera soothes. Stash the portable squeeze tube into your purse for easy access.

Sleeping Mask

We love applying Kopari's Coconut Melt, which is just straight up coconut oil, in a thick layer right before bed so that all the goodness can soak in over night. You'll wake up to unbelievably soft skin.

Shaving Cream Substitute

There's nothing worse than finally being ready to change into that party dress, only to realize you totally spaced on shaving your legs. Coconut Melt makes a great shaving cream substitute, and can be used on wet or dry skin.

Face Wash

Coconut oil as face wash sounds kinda crazy, we know. But oil cleansing can actually help to regulate the oil production levels on your skin. Apply Coconut Melt liberally all over your face to take off makeup and get rid of any dirt from the day, and remove with a warm washcloth.

Hair Treatment

Spoil yourself on Sunday night with a DIY hair treatment. Apply Coconut Melt to your hair, paying special attention to dry ends, then wrap it all up in a shower cap. Leave for at least 30 minutes. We won't lie, it takes some time to wash out--but is so worth it.

At-Home Pedicure

All the season's holiday parties likely mean you're wearing heels more often than usual. Give your feet a well-deserved break by coating them in Kopari's Sugar Scrub and soaking afterward.

Highlighter

We tend to think of coconut oil as more of a skincare and hair product, but Kopari's Coconut Body Glow also doubles as a beauty product. Dot it down the bridge of your nose, along the tops of your cheekbones and in your cupid's bow for a natural, bronzy highlight.

In-Flight Facial Mist

Airplanes suck. Give yourself a bit of an escape (even if your final destination is your old bedroom at Mom and Dad's house) by using a few drops of Kopari's Coconut Sheer Oil mixed with distilled water in a travel-sized spray bottle. Don't forget to shake before using to mix.

Frizz Fixer

A few drops of that same Coconut Sheer Oil is great for taming flyaways and fighting frizz. Rub a very small amount (too much can make thin hair limp) between your palms, then finger brush through your hair. Finish by running a clean brush over your hair to incorporate the oil, then shine on, sista. Kopari Beauty Products, Moroccan Wedding Blanket
