Hey there VDV babes... As 2017 comes to a close and we start planning our New Year's resolutions, we hear it time and time again that "this year I'm going to be healthier." But sometimes it can be hard to know where to start or even really get the motivation to do it on your own. But we're here to help you stick to your resolutions by listing some of the places we love to get our sweat on and live a healthier lifestyle. Read below to see our top 3 faves!
- All the girls at VDV love going to Pilates, especially at Elevate. One of our stylists, Chandler, is an instructor there so it's a really fun way for us to bond as a team! Bring a friend with you and enjoy this 40-minute group workout that leaves you sore, but so happy that you went.
- Getting outside is such an easy way to live a healthier lifestyle and workout more without getting a gym membership. One of the things we love to do is hike Torrey Pines. It's a beautiful hike with different trails to choose from! Work out while also getting to enjoy some beautiful scenery? Sounds good to us.
Any San Diego Beach
- Gyms can be crowded sometimes, especially right after New Year's Eve, but a great way to be active is by going outside and working out at your local beach. You can run on the beach, do lunges, squats, and all different kinds of workouts. And if you're brave enough during the winter, maybe even hop in the water after your work out to cool down!
