24 Hours in San Diego: Our Guide to the Perfect Day

Hey babes! As many of you may know, San Diego is known for its sunny skies, warm weather and never-ending list of things to do. We’ve narrowed down this list to some of our favorite activities. Keep reading to find out how to spend the perfect day here in sunny San Diego!

Brunch at Fig Tree Café:

Start off your day by dining at Fig Tree Café! This small and cozy restaurant’s most popular location is in Hillcrest and is sure to satisfy all of your brunch cravings. Their menu consists of traditional breakfast items such as omelettes and french toast, or try something different and order the breakfast sushi! If you’re feeling thirsty you can try their kombucha on tap or spice up your morning with a Bloody Mary for our 21+ babes.

Tip: Get a boost of energy for the day and order the Acai antioxidant shot for only $2.95!

Explore Balboa Park:

San Diego’s Balboa Park is almost double the size of New York’s Central Park and definitely does not disappoint! While spending your afternoon here, be sure to check out the art museums located throughout the park. Don’t forget to head over to the botanical garden as well!

Tip: A lot of people visit Balboa Park and miss out on some of its hidden gems. If you cross from the main part of the park, there are cactus gardens located at the top of the hill. Here you can enjoy a beautiful view and it's a great spot to take a few pictures!

Catch the Sunset at Sunset Cliffs:

Only a 20-minute drive from Balboa Park is the best place to watch the sunset in San Diego! Be sure to bring a few blankets to sit on and a speaker to listen to your favorite music while the sun goes down.

Tip: The location that GPS will take you is often crowded with parking! Drive down a little further and you will find more parking located on the side residential streets!

Rooftop Drinks and Food at Firehouse:

After watching an amazing San Diego sunset, we recommend that you head over to Firehouse in Pacific Beach for amazing food and drinks on the rooftop! If there’s a slight night time breeze we’d definitely bring the Sybil Open Cardigan to keep you cozy while chatting over appetizers and cocktails.

Tip: If you go on Friday from 4pm-7pm they offer $5 Montejo and Frosé & $5 select appetizers!

We hope this guide helps you to have the perfect day in San Diego!

xoxo,
