Our Guide To: Palm Springs

Whether you need a break from cold weather, looking for quick weekend getaway, or want a change in scenery, we've decided Palm Springs is where it's at!  We can't get enough of the abundant sun (year round), amazing vintage and antique shopping, and great hikes. Although the best pass-time is relaxing in the sun by the pool, if you'd like a little adventure here are some of our favorite spots and activities in town!

Best Vintage and Antique Stores

Gypsyland Thrift 66169 Pierson Blvd, Desert Hot Springs, CA 92240

Gyspyland is a little treasure about 20 minutes outside of Palm Springs. The drive is worth it though, because this antique/vintage thrift store is absolutely amazing. So many clothing and home decor gems your car will be packed to the brim upon leaving.

Dazzles 1035 N Palm Canyon Dr Palm Springs, CA 92262

Dazzles is on the pricier side, but they have a wide variety of amazing vintage furniture to add to your home. Along with other various retro pieces, they have an extensive collection of  costume jewelry dating back decades!

Deja Vu Vintage Finery 664 N Palm Canyon Dr Palm Springs, CA 92262

Deja Vu is small, but contains a beautiful collection of vintage. The prices are steep, but it is definitely worth checking out to get some inspiration.

Best Hikes: 

Maynard Mine Trail

This hike is strenuous, but the views are absolutely breathtaking. As you hike up the mountain you can see all of Palm Springs and the surrounding cities. The steep trail is a great work out, and it is easy to turn around at any point.

Andreas Canyon Trail

This trail is 2 miles long and takes you along a stream and through a grove of huge palm trees. It feels more like a jungle than a desert and is great for younger kids, as it is a very easy walk!

Best Restaurants
