In Case You Missed It: Week Recap
Morning babes! How is it Saturday all over again?! Whatever, we're not complaining....
This week was another BIG one at VDV HQ. From Monday to now we literally haven't stopped. Festival season is in full force so we're constantly working to bring you babes the best!
Monday we discussed a new feature for the VDV blog..."What's In My Bag?" and we couldn't be more obsessed with it! If you ever wanted to know what a VDV babe is packing in her purse for the festival...this would be the blog to read. Each week we'll bring you a new babe with a different bag full of items to help you survive the festival in style.
On Tuesday, we discussed Coachella and how to keep the festival as effortless as possible. This basically means you need a few key pieces to take your look from day to night with minimal effort. We like to keep things easy...so this post tells you one easy item you need to take your Coachella look from daytime festival to nighttime fun.
On Wednesday we took a break from festival talk to discuss a favorite trend for Spring and Summer: The Micro-Romper! We forecast-ed this trend a while back and are super-stoked to announce that it's now a huge trend! A micro-romper is a romper that's shrunken down to give a little bodysuit vibe...like we said...we want to see your legs this season!!
Thursday was all about how you can take your everyday wardrobe to the festival with only ONE piece!! Sounds crazy, right? It's possible. We show you how. If you're the type of babe who wants the festival to be easy and effortless, but also special, read all about our one-piece wonders!
We ended the week off with a bang..a double feature!! We know that you babes always like to take some fashion risks over the weekend, so we suggested trying the latest designer to hit VDV...Whitney Eve! The line is incredibly cool & feminine while also being one-of-a-kind and unique with hand created patterns. Who wouldn't want to get their hands on one of her looks? We're so into it. On Friday we also launched our first installment of our Coachella lookbooks "Highway Hitchhike"!! This is SO exciting for us because we can't wait for festival season and we also couldn't wait to show you what we've been working on! "Highway Hitchhike" is all about reinventing classic Americana fashion into our new Van De Vort way.
