Behind The Scenes: The Summer Collection w/ Lauren Bushnell and Amanda Stanton
April was a huge month for us... We launched our festival lookbook, celebrated it at Coachella, and at the end of it all, decided to drive back to the desert one last time... But this time it was to shoot our newest curated collection with none other than our favorite bestie duo: Lauren Bushnell and Amanda Stanton!!! We absolutely adore these two babes, and with already knowing how much they kill it in our brand, we knew they would be the perfect fit for this fun shoot.
Here's a quick rundown and bts of how the shoot went down...We arrived at La Quinta Resort and Spa to meet up with the girls and give them the perfect pre-game to their Stagecoach weekend. Champagne was served (with berries of course) while hair and makeup did their thing, our room turned into a stylist's (basically every girls') dream, of accessories, shoes, and clothes.
La Quinta Resort ended up being the perfect backdrop for the shoot we envisioned, and we couldn't wait to get the girls comfortable and camera-ready in looks that we curated from our favorite pieces to wear this summer.
After what seemed like one hour turned into four, we were all wind blown and covered in dust. We had some amazing images to work with already, so we decided to wrap up the shoot at an impromptu location on the side of the road, which ended up being a super cool palm tree farm. We ended up getting some of our favorite images of the day there!
The night was capped with an AMAZING dinner at Morgan's which consisted of seafood and truffle fries, paired with a bottle (or two!) of wine, espresso martinis courtesy of the table of men across the restaurant (thanks guys!), girl talk, endless amounts of laughter, and life's best tips from the one-and-only, Lil' Kris! (Lauren's cute mom).
This was definitely one of our favorite shoots to-date. There's nothing better than an amazing crew to spend the day with, and amazing photos to come of it.
