Breeder's Cup

The Breeder’s Cup is coming to San Diego! On November 5th & 6th, the fanciest horse race in the world will be held at the Del Mar Race Track, where the world's best thoroughbreds will come together to compete in the annual series of final races.

With two days of non-stop action, payouts, and legendary performances, this is an event you won’t want to miss! VDV has put together a little guide for those of you spectating.

Dress to the nines!

Put on an elegant dress for this fancy weekend. Here are some of our favorite options available at Van De Vort:

Sit down on Sunday for brunch with a view. Monarch Ocean Pub is a breezy, open-space restaurant serving elevated pub food and exquisite drinks. This is the perfect place to stop for a drink and bite to eat before the races - and a fantastic photo op!
