Cute Swimsuit Cover Ups

Summer hasn't officially started yet, but bikini season sure has, at least in Southern California. Our weekend plans have been overrun by pool parties and beach days, and we definitely aren't mad about it. As per usual, we've got plans to hit up all the start-of-summer soirées in style. While a killer bikini is an obvious necessity, we love the way a cute cover up can transform a beach look. Plus, having something easy to slip over those cheeky bikinis makes pool and party hopping that much easier. Here are our favorite swimsuit cover ups at the moment.

These Beach Bummies by The Laundry Room are one of our must-have items for bikini season. Short sleeved, in a lightweight open knit, these summery sweaters make the perfect cover up. Looks like your favorite go-to graphic tee, but substantial enough to layer up in on breezy beach days. We love pairing ours with lace-up gladiators, a cool pair of sunnies and a Frasier Sterling choker for a playful look that's perfect for laid back pool parties. 

 While the Theory Pants by Faithfull The Brand weren't designed as a cover up, we think their floaty construction and leg-baring front slits makes them perfect for wearing barefoot over a bikini. For the most effortless beach look of all time, we'll be wearing them with a crochet crop top, loose sea-sprayed waves and topping it all off with an oversized straw Panama hat by Janessa Leone.
