Festival Fashion Inspired by Musicians

We're getting super excited for our upcoming days in the desert, so this post is dedicated to a bunch of musicians and the piece that comes to mind when we listen to their music:

Alt-J

We chose this Winston White Chile Black romper for it's effortlessly pretty vibe. You'll be able to dance the night away to Alt-J in this number for sure. This band is definitely off-beat-cool...and so is this romper!

Azalia Banks

We chose this Indah Bianca Jumpsuit because Azalia Banks is a bad B and we know that's how you'll feel listening to her tunes in this piece...it's just toooooo good. Perfect match.

Chet Faker

Chet Faker is definitely a laid-back cool guy, we can picture being in a forest listening to his music, so we chose a down-to-earth item, the Jack by BB Dakota Maxen sweater!

Drake

When Drake comes to mind, we immediately want to dress super-sexy and dance all night...we LOVE us some Drake...I mean, especially in this Wild Skirt. Hot!!

FKA Twigs

This girl is seriously the coolest...her style is on point already and we're positive she'll be a style icon soon enough. So, get funky with this one and rock the One Teaspoon Ford Society Shorts.

Glass Animals

Glass Animals are the newer hipster band on the block, and one of our newer Designers fits them perfect. Wayf is everything, and fits their young, alternative vibe seamlessly!

Hozier

Hozier really became a thing after the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show...am I right? So he totally got our minds back on lingerie. Luckily, lingerie is a HUGE trend for this festival season...why not just go for it, leave less to the imagination this season. He can take you to church later...wear these For Love and Lemons Skivvies now.

Jenny Lewis

I decided to go a little tongue-and-cheek here with this one because we just got in a ton of AMAZING Jenny Bird Mood Cuffs in...so I just decided to keep the Jenny's together. I mean, how could this beautiful & unique piece of jewelry not remind you of Jenny's pretty voice and cool girl vibe?

Lykke Li

When we hear a Lykke Li song, we get into serious day-dream mode and want to run off into a field of roses or something...okay, not totally sure on the scene yet, but we just feel light and dreamy. This Auguste Nomad Top gives us the exact right vibe.

Odesza

All of Odesza's album covers and promotional images have been very colorful, sunny, and bright. When we listen to their music it always seems very sunny and warm...so it's all the more fitting that the Indah Siku Red shorts remind us of their music...plus in the desert it'll be so hot these shorts are all you'll want to wear! Perfect, right?

St. Vincent

So St. Vincent is kind of everything...She's daring, quirky, weird, and her voice is unarguably beautiful, so for her, we wanted to go with a piece that was bold and fun, but had an almost vintage-inspired feel...This Flynn Skye That's a Wrap Top is so perfect. Plus it's just a gorgeous top. Win-win.

Tame Impala

Okay, I'll come out and say it...I'm obsessed with Tame Impala. This Aussie band is every reason to attend the festival this season...They've been playing music for years and years and their stuff is sunny, warm, psych-rock...Perfect music to drink a beer and dance around or lay in the grass to...It's very 60s-70s pop influenced, so for me it was an easy choice to pair this band with the D'Blanc Sonic Bloom sunnies...such a dreamy combo.

The Gaslamp Killer

This is seriously one eccentric, cool dude. We always feel some kind of way when we're listening to his music, so we chose the Indah Val Zulu pants. His trippy music is exactly what these pants are for the fashion world...plus you'll just look rad. These are festival pants. 100%.

Tyler The Creator

Tyler the Creator really gets us grooving so when he plays in the desert we want something easy and cool, with a sporty vibe, so I've chosen the Indah Sena Red Crop Top because it's the best crop top ever and is super easy to pair with literally any bottoms...you just want to have fun in this top.
