More Than Just A Fling: For Love & Lemons Spring 2016

Unless you've been living under a rock sans WiFi the last few years, you're no stranger to For Love & Lemons. The line was founded by two badass babes who've been besties since the sun-soaked lemonade stand days (hence the brand's name), and what started as humble beginnings in Jackson, Wyoming has since expanded to include a swimwear, knitwear, and a hot as hell lingerie line aptly dubbed SKIVVIES. Safe to say, the ladies behind FL&L are KILL.ING.IT. (as if there were any other option). Allow us to wax poetic for a sec: in a world where fast fashion tends to feel like a fling, FL&L's custom lace creations have secured soulmate status in our hearts. And with every new collection they roll out, we can't help but fall harder. Case in point? Their Spring 2016 collection titled "Amore Mia" which just hit our store and site a few days ago. While we can definitely promise you'll love it as much as we do, we can't guarantee that it'll be around for long, so we recommend snagging it while you still can. One of our best selling For Love & Lemons dresses to date, the swoon-worthy Juliet A-Line is back and we swear we heard baby angels playing harps in the background the second we saw it. This time in maroon and 2016 Pantone Color of the Year, rose quartz. What hasn't changed though, are the romantic bell sleeves, silk satin chiffon and lattice trim. We love how this one's fully lined, meaning no complicated slips or underthings required. Perfect for a Valentine's Day date and all the bridal showers, baby showers and engagement parties you'll inevitably be invited to in the months to come. Cold shoulders never looked so hot. That is, until the Cecelia Crop Top came along. With red and pink floral embroidery on white crepe, lace paneling and trim, and adjustable flared sleeves, this top is giving us serious señorita-vibes. We love how ladylike it looks when paired with a matching lace skirt, but for more casual occasions we'll be wearing it with our One Teaspoon Bandits and a Western-inspired belt. Last season FL&L slayed us with this vintage-y lace number. And to no surprise, they've once again upped the ante with their lace game. Make the most of this season's layered teardrop pattern with the Rosalita Skirt. The midi length and scalloped hemline feel sweet, but the sheer lace (with a built-in nude panty, so no worries) gives it that classic FL&L sex appeal, especially when teamed up with black ankle booties for some added edge.
