Crushing On Blush

The color pink brings to mind thoughts of baby showers and sorority swag (SO many tee shirts). While decidedly not the most mature of connotations, the cutesy color still manages to hold a special place in our pink, sparkly emoji hearts. Sure, our closets have grown up a lot since then, but chances are pink was your first-ever favorite color. And unlike your first-ever boyfriend, we think it's worth giving pink a second chance.

This time around though, we're skipping over the precious, princess pink, and opting for dusty, faded and barely there blush tones. It's the color pink all grown up and we're obsessed with it for summer '16. Here are some of our favorite ways to wear blush at the moment.

Chloe Oliver Peach Pink Ruffle Tank, Distressed denim, Danielle Wittig

Romantic Ruffles

We're loving this traditional take on the pink trend by blogger Danielle Wittig of D's Moments. This Shaina Tank by Chloe Oliver (on sale!), has a relaxed fit, tiered construction, and crochet trim. It's peachy perfection and pairs so well with some distressed denim and a pair of casual wedges.

Amanda Sarceda Blush Pink Slip Dress, B-Low The Belt, Velvet Choker

Sirenlike Satin

Our girl Amanda Sarceda nailed the sultry, '90s-inspired slip dress trend in the Bonjour Slip Dress by Vagabond (exclusive to VDV). Paired with a velvet choker and a double buckle belt, this look is perfect for date night.

Pink Suede Fringe Jacket, All Black Outfit

Fearless In Faux Suede

Soften up an all black ensemble with some soft faux suede in a dusty, rosy hue. We're so into Jessica Sarceda's take in our Vagabond vegan suede fringe jacket and these lace-up black skinnies by Amuse Society
