Four Black And White Staples

Blame it on ever-changing trends and styles cycling in and out. Personal style is far from black and white. Well, except when it's literally black...and white. As is the case with these four looks seen on a few of our favorite VDV Babes. While we'll probably never get over our penchant for patterns and love for luxe details, there are those occasions that call for something a little more minimalistic. In those cases, we love rocking an achromic ensemble. The key to killing it in head-to-toe black and white? Starting with the right staples--like a pair of classic black cutoffs, insanely flattering white skinnies, a bombshell black bodysuit, and the most badass bomber jacket. With these secret weapons in your wardrobe, you'll never miss the mark on a black and white ensemble.

Black Cutoffs

Who says shorts can't be business casual? We love how blogger Linh Niller styled these One Teaspoon Bandits (on sale!) with a crisp black and white striped tee, a longline blazer and structured mule loafers. 

White Skinnies 

Finding the perfect pair of white skinny jeans has always proved tough in the past. But then we found this pair by Blank NYC. The raw hem and ankle length feel super current, especially when paired with this breezy Amuse Society tank and strappy black sandals.  

Bombshell Bodysuit

Don't hurt 'em. But it's hard not to, in a body skimming black bodysuit and svelte black skinnies, as seen here on VDV Babe Jessica Sarceda. We love how she kept the accessories on point with oversized sunnies and a simple scarf worn as a choker. 

Bomber Jacket

Insta-babe Kimberly Jackson looks the epitome of off duty in a black bomber and casual baseball cap. The Axel Jacket by Amuse Society is our latest favorite iteration of the trend, with a classic bomber silhouette, ribbed cuffs and oversized embroidered detailing at the back.
