Three Outfits For 4th Of July
Summer style? Not exactly rocket science. As long as you've got a bikini, a pair of cutoffs and sunnies on hand, you're pretty much nailing it. That is, so long as you're beach bumming or partying poolside. While we're definitely advocates of the aforementioned, we also understand that all of summer isn't solely reserved for sunning one's buns (unfortunately). Though we tend to think of summer as a slower time of year, the truth is that the season is packed with family vacays, backyard BBQs and of course, Fourth of July celebrations. Yes, the 4th is technically just one day. But this year we've been #blessed with an entire three-day weekend. And if your iCal is looking anything like ours, you'll be party hopping your way straight through to Monday (which happens to be the actual 4th, BTW). In need of something to wear? Us too. But as always, VDV has you covered. Here are few 4th of July outfit ideas to get you through the weekend.
Boho Romper + Booties
Who knew paisley could look so patriotic? The Yacht Playsuit by Faithfull The Brand is made from a lightweight, boho-inspired floral paisley print with elbow length kimono sleeves, self tie waist and a seriously deep V. Team it up with your go-to pair of black booties and some oversized sunnies.
Classic Stripes + Crisp White Denim
You can never go wrong with a classic striped tank and clean white denim for 4th of July. We're loving this high neck version by MINKPINK. In navy and white stripes with a cool cutout back with T strap detailing. Pair it with some white One Teaspoon denim and strappy gladiators--these ones are on sale!
Feminine Floral + Ruffle Trim
There's sure to be fireworks once you slip into the Woratah Playsuit by MINKPINK. The sweet floral print and ruffle trim shorts will do all the flirting for you, and the lightweight fabrication makes the perfect thing to wear on those sticky summer days. We love it with a pair of strappy sandals and delicate gems.
