January Event Recap

Hey everyone! Alyssa here. I'm the VDV Marketing Intern and Events Planner! And let me tell you... Van De Vort has an action-packed calendar that we cannot wait to share with you ;) But first, here's a little recap of how we kicked off 2018!

VDV rang in the new year with a BANG!

From networking opportunities to shopping till we drop, to sipping cocktails w/ the ladies, and SO much more.

The new year has been off to a very exciting start - keep reading to get all the deets of what the VDV team has been up to the past month.

FIRST UP… VDV x SIDE BAR

Fridays Are For The Girls

To kick off the new year, we had a Ladies Night at Side Bar!

Some call it Girl’s Night, but we call it therapy.

Because c’mon, it’s crucial to have nights out with the ladies!

The VDV team was more than thrilled to team up with Side Bar for a Friday Are For The Girls event hosted by one of our faves, Alexis Waters! (Yes Bachelor fans, dolphin lady!) ;)

The best part?

Tickets were FREE and guests received a complimentary drink ticket!

Shop, sip, connect -- does it get any better than that?!

Our pop-up shop at Side Bar was a huge success and an incredible night spent dancing the night away with all the gal pals! We would like to give a big thanks to Side Bar for collaborating with us on an epic Girls Night!

Sidebar / @sidebarsd is an upscale ultra-lounge and nightclub in Downtown San Diego.

A Building Opportunity

To welcome the new year, we collaborated with Lady Killas to plan a night filled with inspiration and empowerment at Bang Bang!

It was a beautiful night that we will never forget.

Chit-chatting and networking with people from all over the country, sipping on bubbly champagne while shopping, dancing under the giant disco ball, and last but definitely not least....

hearing the story of our very own boss babe - Andrea Van De Vort.

... p.s. did we mention that Bang Bang has a RYAN GOSLING bathroom?!

Yes, it is totally a real thing.

So yes, the event was a (bang)BANG and (lady)KILLA! ;)

I'm starting to write cheesy puns, so it's my cue to stop.

Lady Killas / @ladykillas_sd is a group of boss babes who believe in equality + hustle.

Bang Bang / @bangbangsd is a fine-tuned sushi, fine tunes + a giant disco ball dance and night club.
