Our 5 Favorite San Diego Coffee Shops

As we make our way out of the summer season, we may need a little more motivation than normal to get back in the routine of studying or getting work done. We've rounded up our 5 favorite coffee shops all over San Diego to help you find a workspace with good vibes and most importantly, good coffee!

1. Pannikin Coffee and Tea - Encinitas

Pannikin is a coffee haven for Encinitas locals. The cute yellow house is super close to the beach, and has plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. Pannikin has amazing baked goods, coffee, food, but no Wifi! Cozy up with a good book and you'll be here all day!

2. Succulent Cafe - Carlsbad
Succulent Cafe is a super chill space perfect for some crunch time studying. The walls are practically covered in succulents, and some you can even buy there! The doors are always open giving a laid-back beachy vibe. The shop has am amazing aesthetic that could also help out your Instagram feed while you're there!
3. Communal Coffee - North Park
Communal Coffee has to be the cutest coffee shop concept ever! Have a cup of coffee while making your own flower bouquet? We're in! The shop has a large room full of seating, but get there early because this place is popular! The lively environment is perfect for chatting with friends, or concentrating in a corner space.
4. Copa Vida - Sorrento Valley
Copa Vida has multiple locations throughout San Diego, but this one is especially amazing for its super open space, and good amount of seating. This is a great place for some quiet studying or working, paired with a tasty latte. Just an FYI, the shop turns off their Wifi Saturdays and Sundays from 9 A.M. to 3 P.M.!
5. Lofty Coffee - Little Italy
Lofty Coffee is another San Diego favorite with two other locations in Encinitas and Solana Beach. The Little Italy location is a great place to study, chat, or work with an outdoor feel while sitting inside. They have amazing baked goods to go along with your coffee of choice. Grab a croissant and get to work!
Hope we gave you some new coffee shops to visit this weekend! Stay caffeinated!
