We are highlighting our favorite hot spots, and will continue to recognize and support our local small businesses and restaurants even if it looks a bit different in current times. We are so excited to feature a neighborhood restaurant, Valentina. The darling local restaurant with exceptional cuisine, friendly staff, and aesthetically pleasing design has adapted to this new restaurant experience. This eccentric coastal bistro nestled in Encinitas, California serves more than delicious and unique fare. With their family business charm and friendly staff, there is love in every bite.
Valentina currently offers a pop up market with a variety of retail and grocery items, curbside pickup, and a four course pre-fixe menu known on their website as Valentina Express. Pre-order and ready in thirty minutes, and you have a fantastic meal for one. Their four course menu consists of a starter followed by the main dish and finished off with a delectable slice of cake. Order for two and accompany your meal with a picnic blanket, a bottle of wine, and your favorite Shop Van De Vort look for a re-invented date night.
Valentina's curbside pickup is offered from 4:30pm-7:30pm daily served with a mask on and safely to your car. This seasonal and intentionally curated menu is fit for the colder weather and cozy nights in. To start, a rich and tasty Smoked Corn Soup followed by your choice of Caesar Salad with a Wasabi Caesar Dressing or Roasted Carrots. This menu includes your choice of a main dish, the juicy and spanish inspired Rioja Braised Beef, the Chicken Paillard with lemon caper sauce, the Stuffed Aubergine layered with eggplant and marinara, and their famous Paella de Mariscos . Last but not least, a melt in your mouth French inspired Basque Cake topped with powdered sugar and finished off with a drizzle of their decadent salted caramel sauce. This incredible four course meal is priced $30.00-$35.00. Enjoy a bottle of wine from their pop up grocery and retail market with selections of aristianal pastas, cheeses and wines varying from dinner pairings to bubbly champagne! Order in, you deserve it.
