VDV One Paseo 1 Year Anniversary Celebration Recap

This past Monday, March 9, 2020 was a special one. Our second VDV location at One Paseo turned ONE! We are so grateful for the love and support you all have shown VDV. We can't believe it's been a whole year since our second location has been open for biz. Time truly has flown by and the saying is definitely true that it flies when you're having fun;) Of course, in VDV fashion, we had to celebrate our 1 year birthday! Take a look at how we spent the day and the amazing brands that helped us celebrate :)
No VDV celebration is complete without florals, drinks, treats, and goodie bags. A big thank you to Native Poppy for providing our florals for our special day! They were gorgeous and we were obsessed! Natalie is the sweetest SD local gal that creates the most beautiful arrangements! Cheers were in order for our 1 year anniversary so you know we had Claxton Cellars and Ashland Hard Seltzer in hand! And in the other were the yummiest macarons from our wonderful neighbors Le Macaron One Paseo! They made the cutest macaron tower for our 1-year party. SO TASTY! :) They provide catering for special and corporate events and you can find them on Instagram @lemacarononepaseo
And last, but certainly not least, you know we had goodie bags as a way to say a HUGE thank you for all the love and support you all have shown us! The first twenty shoppers of the day got goodie bags with REAL GOOD goodies from our faves: Pathwater, Kashi, Bear Naked, Richer Poorer, Shop Good, Simply Gum, Parakeet Cafe, Sweetfin, Bodyrok SD, Vibeflow, KanehCo.

This water is 100% responsibly and locally sourced water and does NOT come in a plastic water bottle. Their bottles are made of aluminum making them reusable and making your water stay cold longer! That's a win in our book!
Kashi makes cereal, bars, waffles, and more! They make their foods with simple, wholesome ingredients and you really can't go wrong with that.
Known for their granola & cereal, Bear Naked also makes with the highest quality ingredients and every flavor is tested before going out the door. And we tasted the White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Organic Granola and it is for sure a must-try!
If you have been following us for a while, you KNOW we love our Richer Poorer. Comfortable, soft basics that make you feel confident. How could we not have one of our best selling brands part of our goodie bag?!
Shop Good is one of our One Paseo neighbors and we absolutely adore the shop and team! A clean beauty and wellness shop with all the goodies you need. They also offer organic customized facials and we are all here for that! Pop on by to see them, you won't regret it <3
After learning the crazy ingredients brands can put in our chewing gum, we're so glad that Simply Gum is on the market! Simple ingredients, with NO PLASTIC in it. Simply Gum ingredients are synthetic free, non-gmo certified, biodegradable, don't have artificial sweeteners, and are vegan and kosher certified!
Another One Paseo neighbor that we LOVE! Avo toasts and iced mint lattes always call our name and you can bet you'll find us with one of them in hand. Parakeet is the perfect spot for breakfast or brunch and their outdoor patio is the best spot to get that San Diego sunshine! If you haven't been yet, get over there ASAP!
For all our seafood lovers out there, Sweetfin is the spot! Another one of our One Paseo neighbors, Sweetfin has the yummiest poke bowls that are awesome for lunch or dinner! Premium quality fish and produce that is thoughtfully sourced and oh so delish.
A workout that truly rocks your body, reformer pilates at Bodyrok is one of our faves! This workout is challenging and fun and leaves you feeling GOOD. Stop by VDV to get yourself a new workout outfit and then pop over to Bodyrok to get your sweat on!
Not your normal yoga, our neighbor, Vibe Flow Yoga uses body vibration plates to strengthen and tone your body. We love this workout because its so fun and different. Whether your new to yoga or a pro, def try Vibe Flow if you havent already!
California base and family-owned, Kaneh Co specializes in legal cannabis products. With love and care, they make quality products with premium ingredients. They make both cannabis and non-cannabis treats!
