VDV x Soul Shapers Event Recap 2017
This past weekend was a big one for VDV... We had our first ever charity pop-up sample sale! And to say it was a success is an understatement. We teamed up with Soul Shapers and Pendry Hotels for what was our biggest and best event to date. We sold over 350 pieces of clothing and raised over $5,000 and all of the proceeds from this event are going to Hidden Treasures Foundation, a local foundation that rescues and restores women and children who have been victimized in the human trafficking industry. The Founder of Hidden Treasures was also able to make it to the event and came with amazing news that they had just secured a new place to house adolescent victims of human trafficking. The money we raised could be enough to cover half a year's rent...perfect timing or what?!
We loved having the opportunity to do an event like this and partner with such amazing people and we just wanted to give a huge thank you to everyone who came out to this event! Even our fave VDV babe, Lauren Bushnell, came out to support this amazing event and cause.
And of course, we have to say a huge, huge, huge, thank you and shout out to Soul Shapers for teaming up with us to organize this event, Pendry Hotels for hosting it on their amazing rooftop pool house area, Plenty Of Petals for providing us with some amazing floral arrangements, Pow Wow Design Studio for some awesome event decor, Danielle Nagel (@danidazey) for photographing the event, and Chateau Ste. - Plenty Of Petals is a local floral design company that provides amazing floral arrangements for weddings and events. The blooms are so gorgeous, fresh, and they complete any event (like ours!). We were obsessed and so happy with how gorgeous the arrangements were.
