Hey vdv babes, we don't know about you, but after this month we need a little R&R...so what better way to treat yourself than a little weekend getaway! We've compiled a few of our favorite places and what to do there... enjoy!
Rancho Santa Fe

Head to Rancho Valencia tucked away in Rancho Santa Fe and treat yourself to a nice spa day and weekend getaway. This timeless hotel will relax, rejuvenate, and have you feeling like a brand new person. What better way to start the month of November than with a nice relaxing weekend getaway.
Los Angeles

For those looking for a little more adventure, hop in the train or in your car and head down to Los Angeles! We love LA for so many reasons- the food, the vibe, and of course the location. Here, we recommend that you head to Élephante. It is a hip and new restaurant located in Santa Monica. Or if you want amazing Italian food, head on over to Osteria La Buca- we recommend getting the Spaghetti Cacio E Pepe or the Short Rib Ravioli, but honestly, you can't go wrong with anything on their menu! If you want to explore the beauty of LA from a vantage point, hike Runyon Canyon or Los Liones Trailhead. For some good shopping, head to the Grove or the Americana. Both are outdoor malls with endless places to eat, shop, and take pictures!
San Diego
Yes, even your own hometown can have a weekend getaway! Venture off into Coronado and enjoy a nice weekend in the cutest town ever. We promise you walking around the streets of Coronado will make you feel like you're in a quaint town far away. It would be fun to rent bikes for the day and ride around the town or hang out at the Hotel Del Coronado. Can't go wrong with either!
Ojai
Ojai is a cute little town located a little past Los Angeles and right before Santa Barbara. We recommend stopping at the Ojai Valley Inn and Spa. Tucked away in the hills is this hidden paradise- lush green landscapes and the smell of citrus and floral surrounding the air, you will feel like you are in a Mediterranean coastal town. Whether you come here for the spa, a detox retreat, golf or even to lay by the pool, it is the perfect place to unwind and relax. While here, they also have activities and DIY to do- last time I made my own air scent from essential oils, super cool right?! This spot is the perfect place to kick back and relax!
